Desired Skills and Experience:

- 5+ years experience in Ruby.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript
- Proficient in Ruby on Rails
- Experience designing and building RESTful API services
- Knowledge of working with DBMS like PostgreSQL
- Have experience with testing frameworks like RSpec or Minitest
- Experience in using Kubernetes
- Exposure to Agile, Continuous Integration, TDD is a plus
- Experience mentoring juniors.

Good to have:

- Knowledge on microservices architecture
- Nodejs experience
- A keen eye for UX/UI
- An understanding of Privacy implications under GDPR

Responsibilities:

- Writing and testing effective, scalable code
- Developing back-end components and APIs
- Test and debug programs
- Improve scalability and functionality of existing systems
- Mentor and assist junior developers.
